Our padlock range is built for institutions rather than retail counters. Jayco and Dollar 7-lever locks ship in master-key sets of 25 (2 individual keys per lock, 4 master keys per set) in 35mm, 45mm and 65mm, so a warden or storekeeper carries one key while every locker or room keeps its own. Strong 10-lever locks in 50mm, 65mm and 80mm are keyed individually for gates, godowns and main doors. Every body is full brass in Aligarh's traditional 60/40 copper-zinc alloy, which does not rust through the monsoon. What is the difference between 7-lever and 10-lever locks?
Lever count relates to security: more levers mean more possible key combinations. Our 7-lever Jayco and Dollar locks support master-keying; the 10-lever Strong locks offer higher security but are keyed individually (no master key).
Are your padlocks made of full brass?
Yes. Every padlock is full-brass construction, following Aligarh's traditional ~60% copper / 40% zinc composition for corrosion resistance and long service life.
